At Freckles Graphics, I worked with the apparel laser to create designs that etched the top layer of synthetic fabric, giving it a high-end, monotone look. Since the laser only darkens the material, every design had to be approached thoughtfully to make the most of its limitations. To push the creative boundaries, I combined laser etching with embroidery, adding texture and depth in a way that hadn’t been done before. The result was a unique, eye-catching style that set our designs apart.
