Nadel Edge 25 Conference Event
For this event, the largest distributor of blank apparel brought us out to run an AI-focused presentation for their clients, many of whom work in Hollywood. To make it relevant to their world, I showed how to use brand-style references to generate designs that mimic classic movie poster aesthetics while still incorporating their EDGE25 event branding. Each shirt pulled from a different movie helping demonstrate how AI can speed up concepting and visual exploration that would normally take much longer.

I also walked the group through using AI to generate clean, realistic mockups—a big time-saver in merch development. To keep the demo fun and on-theme, I placed the designs in environments inspired by the movies they referenced. The goal was to show how AI can streamline ideation, design, and presentation all at once while still leaving room for the designer’s creativity and judgment.
New Orleans Facilis Group Event
For the New Orleans event, the same distributor invited us back for another AI session, still focusing on how AI can speed up design time and how it can be used in the presentation of the designs to the customer. I created a set of New Orleans–inspired graphics that each showed a different approach, including painterly illustration, clean vector work, character-driven art, textured overlays, and loose, expressive compositions. Seeing them side-by-side helped the audience understand how AI can support a wide range of visual styles without losing creative control.

Throughout the presentation, I demonstrated how AI can be used at multiple stages—from brainstorming and style exploration to tips for refining artwork for production. The designs showed how you can move from playful Café Du Monde characters to watercolor effects to bold street-art silhouettes within the same workflow. The goal was to give the group practical examples of how AI can enhance creativity, expand visual options, and speed up ideation without replacing the designer’s touch.
Holiday Designs
The holiday shirts were a great opportunity to show off Freckles Graphics range while also creating fun giveaway pieces that doubled as strong marketing for Freckles. Each design explores a different style—neon music art, stained-glass vector work, bold painterly textures, and retro cartoon characters—which helped us reach a wide mix of people and tastes. Because these shirts were handed out, they worked as walking advertisements, giving people a feel for the creative flexibility we bring to apparel design and helping introduce new clients to what Freckles can do.
